About Fred Kooistra

I grew up on the Southeast side of Grand Rapids, graduated from Grand Rapids Christian High School and Trinity Christian College (Chicago) with a Bachelors Degree in Financial Management. I have spent 14 years in accounting and purchasing in the telecommunications industry, 3 years as Controller for a small manufacturing company, and over 5 years as a Realtor® in Grand Rapids.

I attend Ada Bible Church and am a certified budget counselor with Crown Financial Ministries.

I am married and have 3 children.  We live in the Riverside Gardens area on the City’s Northeast side.
